Microsoft and Avast has identified compatibility issues with some versions of Avast Antivirus and AVG Antivirus. Warning: Though the compatibility issue is mainly found in the new Windows 1909 (November 2019 Update), there are still some users of its predecessor 1903 (May 2019 Update) said that they had encountered the same problem. Therefore, for users who are running any version of the Avast and AVG that may run into the compatibility problem (both free and paid antivirus programs), they’ll find the updates blocked on their device. Why did Microsoft do this? The main reason is that a compatibility issue was found between the world-famous free antivirus software suites and the new Windows 10 November update. This is all due to a compatibility issue found between the free antivirus tools and the new Windows version. They will find there’s no update available for them after the Windows 10 version 1909 has been released.
